Two years ago I took advantage of having business trip to London (the one in UK) and booked an extra day for a visit to the Imperial War Museum. If you’re a WWII history buff, this museum is a must see.
Though much smaller than I expected it is packed with tons of stuff to explore, especially for an armor modeller. The collection of vehicles is not that large, apparently this is only one of their locations, so I guess they have some treasures hidden elsewhere too, but vehicles are easily accessible and visible from all sides.
The DUKW in yellow-blue camouflage is not part of the exhibition, I just spotted it on the way back to hotel. Though not historically authentic, definitely an inspiration.
