I seem to be having a good time building a new stuff over the past weeks, have done (or mostly done) few pieces, which are now waiting for painting.

The latest one is this YPR-765 which I have picked up n store just on Friday, but is already finished now…

The kit is from AFV and it’s a lovely one. Given the age, the level of detail is lovely and overall this is an excellent kit I have enjoyed building a lot!

There are some shortcomings that nitpickers can complain about – suspension arms are molded in place on the lower hull and there are no clear parts provided, everything is solid plastic ( I don’t mind this at all, I think there are ways to make still good looking periscopes with it).

This grandpa of a kit can seriously beat many of the new ones on the market by a wide margin.
