Here we go again, another year, another Heritagecon. And I must say bigger and better than before. I was truly impressed by the size and number of people in the hangar of the Hamilton museum this time. Kudos go to the organizers for number of changes that made things easier for the participants – better parking, quicker access to the exhibition hall, overall better layout of the space, etc…

And when it comes to the models on display I have also to recognize better quality and quantity, especially when it comes to armor. There were quite a few inspiring pieces, though somehow I was not that much excited by the aircraft section this year and dioramas had also rather poor showing.

The sad story of the day was the one about the hallmark autumn show – Ajax which is said to be canceled this year after 36 seasons… Let’s hope things may change until then, but if it would be true, it would be truly loss for the modelers from around GTA.
