Thanks to Facebook, I have found this interesting online collection of photographs from Berlin sometimes shortly after the end of the war. This collection has few interesting shots of military equipment but primarily documents the destruction inflicted upon the city during the final weeks of the war. Some of the places look familiar, but overall the scenery is diverse, in cases showing soldiers of the allied armies in relaxed mood, what a difference compared to many wartime photographs.
