Yesterday I have returned from visit to our southern neighbors (hence my short absence from my blog) and during my travels I was able to see and visit some military machines, one of them USS Massachusetts, WWII South Dakota class battleship. The ship is currently at anchor at Fall river in Massachusetts (of course) and is part of an larger exhibition of ships. Unfortunately not a lot of time was available so I have focused on the Massachusetts of course, this being the first true battleship that I have ever set my foot to.
The visit was truly amazing experience and I have of course shot a lot of pictures. These not only show detailed configuration of the battleship but as I have noticed when reviewing them, also provide useful reference for paint chipping, rusting and rust streaks on modern machine.
Though it is not vehicle, it has armor and guns, so it counts…
