In the recent weeks I was bit frustrated (and unhappy) about results of some of my weathering efforts, so I took refuge in…building new kits.

One that I have picked up is this SA-8 Gecko from Trumpeter. Unusual vehicle with unusual name and unusual look, I was curious to see how it will go.

The kit is very good, tons of details, needs bit of cleaning and watching out for occasional hiccup, but overall well done. I am now working on the radar/AA pod section, there is still a lot of details to be added.
